A new-look Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice bus hits the roads of Coventry & Warwickshire

The double decker has been given a Zoë’s Place makeover with sponsorship from Inspire Insurance.
The striking yellow bus features the Zoë’s Place bear mascot and branding, and will help raise awareness of the hospice which relies on £1.4 million of fundraising a year to provide palliative, respite and end-of-life care to babies and infants.
It will run on local bus and school services operated by Travel de Courcey throughout Coventry and Warwickshire, and updates the original Zoë’s Place bus launched five years ago.
The new bus even features the name ‘Lady Jane McGaffney’ on the front windscreen to acknowledge the charity worker who has been behind the initiative.
Jane McGaffney, community fundraiser at Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice based in Ash Green, Coventry, said: “We are so grateful to Inspire Insurance for sponsoring the new bus as we couldn’t have otherwise afforded the makeover.
“I am absolutely blown away by how great it looks. It really stands out which is hugely important as its whole purpose is to raise awareness of Zoë’s Place and funds to enable the care it provides.”
Inspire Insurance is a long-time supporter of Zoë’s Place and in recent years has funded a new bear mascot costume, held a fund-raising family fun day and raised money from staff taking part in the charity’s Coventry to Paris bike ride and Snowdon Trek.
Neil Mackey, corporate account manager at the Middlemarch Business Park firm, said: “As a locally-based company, we are proud to support Zoë’s Place, particularly as it is the only hospice of its kind in the Midlands and provides such incredible care.
“We jumped at the chance to sponsor the new bus as we know how crucial it will be in making more people aware of the charity. The design and colour is really vibrant and is sure to catch the eye of passengers, motorists and other passers-by.
“And we are quite literally backing the bus with our own name on the bus back, which will help us to drive our business in the local market as well.”
